Their next project is a Netflix thriller titled RIP from the writer and director Joe Carnahan. At this time, the plot for the upcoming film has not been revealed just yet but the film will be produced by Affleck and Damon’s artist-led studio, Artists Equity. Their studio has been expanding its project list lately, including a film titled Small Things Like These starring Cillian Murphy and a sequel to The Accountant. Damon and Affleck have been friends since they were neighbors in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The duo won Oscars for co-writing Good Will Hunting, sky rocketing them to stardom. Shawn Stussy Says He's Coming Out of Retirement The streetwear heavyweight said he has a few projects in the works. Shawn Stussy has subtly shared that he’s coming out of retirement on Instagram. On Monday, the Stüssy founder posted a photo of himself, teasing a few new projects. Prior to editing the caption, Stussy posted the quote, “a young horse is fast, but the old horse know what’s going on… the young horse may win the race, but the old horse stay out so long,” along with writing that it’s a “big round number year” for him and that he’s “engaged with a couple projects out and about.” He also wrote that “retirement is nice, but [it’s] time to engage for a long ride into the future.”Later that day, Stussy edited the caption, leaving the quote but adding the context that it’s not his birthday, as many commentators had been wishing him happy birthday. He also deleted the portion about his new projects. Stussy resigned from his namesake brand back in 1996 and sold his shares to his friend and partner in the business, Frank Sinatra Jr. He returned in the 2010s to launch the now-defunct brand, S/Double. It’s safe to assume that Stussy isn’t reuniting with the eponymous brand but rather creating something under his own imprint or working on a collaboration.

Ralph Lauren is set to kick off New York Fashion Week with a runway show in the Hamptons on September 5. “The Hamptons is more than a place. It’s a natural world of endless blue skies, the ocean, green fields, and white fences, rusticity and elegance with a quality of light that drew artists here decades ago. It has been home, my refuge and always an inspiration,” Lauren said in a statement via WWD. Ralph Lauren has long had a presence in the Hamptons. The brand opened its first shop out east in 1992, when the town was more residential than a vacation destination. In 2007, the label cut the ribbon on its children’s store East Hampton’s oldest building, and in 2008, the designer established a partnership with the East Hampton Historical Society to help preserve the Mulford Farm grounds. Today, Lauren runs three shops in the Hamptons, and he also has three connected houses in Montauk. The show will mark Lauren’s latest innovative runway. In recent seasons, the fashioner has presented new lines in an artist’s loft inspired by the one on his Double RL ranch and in his Madison Avenue offices.

Closer Look at the NewJeans "Supernatural" Pop-Up With Takashi Murakami Murakami made an appearance at the store to launch the pop-up and merch collection. Global K-pop group NewJeans has opened up their very own pop-up store titled “Supernatural” Pop-Up in Shibuya, Tokyo. At the pop-up, fans will be able to get a chance to pick-up exclusive merch items from the group’s collaboration with Takashi Murakami and Hiroshi Fujiwara. Renowned artist Murakami made an appearance at the pop-up, promoting the collaboration he did with the group for their single “Supernatural,” which released on June 21. The collab featured his signature multi-colored flower design and characters on merch bags and the physical album. He also designed specific characters for each of the members. Opening at the new Line Friends Square Shibuya store, the pop-up is until July 15. The official NewJeans Line merchandise is available at the store featuring the special collaboration. The entire second floor of the store is dedicated to the pop-up which fatures other popular characters like Joguman and Truz, the official mascots of K-pop boy group Treasure. The basement in the DX Square area showcases the NewJeans x Takashi Murakami collab with an immersive media zone, where you can watch NewJeans music videos and special video messages from the girls.
