The Air Jordan 4 (IV) is the fourth signature sneaker designed for Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan. It debuted February 1989 during that year's NBA All-Star Game in Houston. The sneakers originally retailed for $110 USD and were designed by Tinker Hatfield.

Throughout that year, four color ways were released:

“White/Cement,”

“Black/Cement,”

Air Jordan 4 “Manila”
Release Date: December 3, 2020

Shortly after “Fire Red 4”, the Jumpman family is set to highlight the retro silhouette once again, this time for an exceptionally exclusive release. Appropriately entitled the Air Jordan 4 “Manila” is a reflection of the country’s fiery passion for Michael Jordan and the game of basketball.

Air Jordan 4 WMNS“Starfish”
Release Date: January 22, 2021

Dressed in a Sail, Black, Starfish, and Light Smoke Grey color scheme. This Air Jordan 4 features a ballistic mesh build with an Orange layer underneath. White inner lining and midsole atop a Grey, Orange, and White rubber outsole completes the design.

Air Jordan 4 “Taupe Haze”
Release Date: February 27, 2021

The Air Jordan 4 Taupe Haze features a unique design that elevates the popular Jordan model. The upper holds cracked textures on the forefoot, midfoot, and tongue, with lighter shades of Taupe Haze under the top coat. An Infrared Jumpman logo on the tongue brightens up the tonal sneaker and completes its overall design.

Dressed in a University Blue, Tech Grey, White, and Black color scheme. With University Blue genuine suede leather upper, this new rendition of the Air Jordan 4 combines premium materials with a classic Jumpman color scheme.

Air Jordan 4 x Union LA“Desert Moss”
Release Date: Jun 20th, 2021

The Air Jordan 4 Union LA Desert Moss features a Dark Iris mesh upper with Desert Moss suede overlays and translucent lace loops. From there, turquoise heel tabs and Union LA woven tabs on the lateral side complete the design.

Air Jordan 4 x Union LA“Taupe Haze”
Release Date: Jun 20th, 2021

The “Taupe Haze” proffers a cleaner, more subdued look. The so-called shade, which is somewhere between a dark and light brown, dresses the thick suedes throughout, accompanying the lighter, cream hits that lie underneath. Yellowed soles offer the same effect, while pops of light green, blue, and orange reel in that camping-inspired feel.

Air Jordan 4 “Tech White / White Oreo”
Release Date: July 3, 2021

The colorway initially received interest for its likeness to a past release. While the exterior wields plain white leathers, its support wings and midsole don a grey and black speckling that’s reminiscent of the “Oreo” from years prior.

This Air Jordan 4 takes inspiration from varying neutral shades of makeup - Outfitted in a Shimmer, Bronze Eclipse, Orange Quartz, and Metallic Silver color scheme.

Air Jordan 4 “Red Thunder”
Release Date: October 2, 2021

The sneaker exhibits a black nubuck upper whereas the highlight red accent is projecting on the signature netted mesh underlays, eyelets, lining behind the tongue, and midsole — all of which copycat the colorway of the AJ 4 “Thunder.” White Jumpman branding on the heels and a black rubber sole tops off the design.

Air Jordan 4 x Aleali May“Camo”
Release Date: 2021

This Aleali May x Air Jordan 4 features a ripstop nylon upper fully enclosed in a Brown and Green camouflage print to give off a military theme. Suede midsoles and heel tabs along with a Purple quilted insole stamped with May’s “A” logo, a removable velcro “Jumpman Compass” patch substituting the standard “Flight” marking on the tongues.
