Miu Miu x New Balance 530 Mules Are Coming The new design has appeared in colorways of brown and wear-away white. Miccuia Prada’s Miu Miu continues to captivate the world with its luxe designs, as evidenced by in another sharp increases in sales that was reported earlier this year. In addition to its apparel success, its footwear projects with New Balance consistently fly off of shelves. The two took to the 530 sneaker earlier this year, presenting the 530SL, a “super light” version of the shoe. Now, an early preview of their next project reveals that a mule version is on the way. Its brown “Cinnamon” hue returns alongside a wear-away white as key elements like the special combination of leather and cotton laces enlivens both pairs. To convert it into a slip-on, the rear of the 530 has been removed while the footbed has been adjusted to match its mule styling. At the time of writing, neither Miu Miu nor New Balance have shared any release details regarding their mule version of the 530 sneaker. Stay tuned for updates, including a closer look at both pairs, as we currently expect the new design to land on shelves sometime in the next year via Miu Miu, likely fetching a price tag exceeding $1,000 USD based on previous releases from the two.

BAPE Teases Upcoming Collaboration with XBOX Set to be completely unveiled July 13. BAPE has taken to its social channels to tease a collaboration with XBOX. At the time of writing, little information has been shared about the collaboration beyond a single photo and a July 13 release date. What we can gather from the photo is that the two will likely drop a limited-edition console, as well as an accompanying capsule collection. This collection appears to feature a hoodie, a pair of shorts, various t-shirts and a sneaker — item specifics and pricing are yet to be shared. With the details still to be announced, it’s possible we could see a special edition controller as well, like the XBOX One collab from 2014 or even game-specific merch or in-game assets like those from BAPE’s collaboration with PUBG in 2019. Y-3 Outfits the Japan Football Association With Jerseys and Culturewear: Marking the first time that Yohji Yamamoto has worked with Japan’s national football team. The Japanese national squad has long been known as “Samurai Blue,” and Yamamoto’s design riffs off that name with an ultra-dark navy base, several shades deeper than the more royal blue used on Japan’s 2022 international kits and the sky blue present on its centenary kits from 2021. Atop this rich blue base sits a simmering blue flame that burns at its hottest down near its bottom hem but also creeps all the way up onto the front left shoulder, using a similar sublimated style as seen on the aforementioned Real Madrid and Palace kits. Final details are provided by Japan’s football crest and a Y-3 logo on the center chest. It’s also worth noting that flame graphics have long had a special place in the team’s heritage: in 1998, the first year they qualified for the World Cup, they wore now-legendary flame-embellished jerseys</a from ASICS. Seeing as the kits have yet to be officially revealed, there’s no further info on what Yamamoto’s other tops or bottoms look like at the time of writing. Sarah Adina Smith and Owen Harris will direct three episodes each, with the later also executive producing with Ryan Condal, Vince Gerardis and Sarah Bradshaw. Martin and Ira Parker will serve as writers.
