There's a new superstar in the building. After leading the Hawks to an improbable run to the Eastern Conference Finals, Trae Young is ready in most anticipated part of his offseason which is the release of his signature shoe, the Trae Young 1 by Adidas.
The Trae Young 1 is set to release in Five colorways which are already been confirmed to release through the next two months, starting with the ICEE and Cotton Candy on October 1st, two official So So Def collaborations on November 5th, and a Peachtree edition on November 19th.
ICEE, an icy blue colorway has also been dubbed the “Ice Trae” (his nickname) pair and comes covered in a couple of different shades of blue on the upper along with subtle pops of red on the eyelets and the three stripes on the lateral midsole. Additional features include a Polar Bear on the heels, an iced-out #11 printed on the insoles, a TY logo at the tongue, Rayford Trae Young written on the heel pull tab, a Lightstrike and Boost cushioned sole, and an icy blue translucent
outsole.
Cotton Candy, the color fade from blue to pink on the upper is so hard and the insoles themselves come with the opposite color fades as well. This is from Trae’s favorite sweets growing up.
SO SO DEF, are colorways which celebrate one of the most iconic record labels to ever come out of Atlanta. SO SO DEF runs deep in the culture of southern hip-hop and we wanted to pay our respects to Jermaine Dupri for the groundwork he laid in the city to be what it is in the music scene today. The SO SO DEF logo is printed on the heel and in the sockliner with the exact phrase written on the billboard. Crazy ‘pop’ colors with the yellow and red throughout.
Peachtree’s inspiration is everybody in Atlanta knows Peachtree and West Peachtree. The two streets run parallel through the heart of the city and if you know, you know. This colorway has the all-over peach colored upper with the hints of green to represent the stem. It's got the ‘Georgia Peach’ printed on the sockliner with the street signs.
The launch will also include three signature apparel items engineered to keep up with the level of performance, style, and all-day comfort. Outfitted with Trae’s signature logo and rocking unique cutlines, the apparel collection includes: Trae Quarter Zip Pull-Over, Trae Pant, Trae Short.
There is no stopping the Trae train in Atlanta anytime soon especially now with high hopes to surpass the previous Eastern Finals exit last season and bringing Atlanta its second championship since 1958.
