How I manage to get a brand-new car with just reselling shoes? Don’t worry this is
not a click bait but really based on my own personal experience. It took hard
work and perseverance and tons of personal research. Also, this is not to brag
but mainly to uplift others to strive harder specially with the challenging
times with this pandemic happening. But before we go to the nitty gritty part,
let me give you a brief background how I started.
It was December 2012 and the highly coveted Air Jordan 11 Breds was about to be
released. I had two of my buddies joined me to fall in line to get our personal
pairs since we have been looking forward to this pair as solid Jordan fans and
the shoes is nostalgic to us in all aspects you can think off. I also brought
my 2 cousins whom I paid 300 each thinking I can get extra pairs for me to
stock. Lucky enough all of us got our pairs and I have 3 pairs in possession.
It was a tiring day as we have been inline for more than half a day, so we
decided to eat in McDonalds before we go home.
Surprisingly while eating our meal. A man approached me (probably on his late 30s) and asked
if we were able to purchase the Jordan 11 breds since he striked out from the
store release and to his surprise. The two extra pair I got which is size 9.5
and 10 is the size he is looking for. One for him and one for his son. He asked
me if I am willing to sell them to me and he will add extra for the trouble. To
my surprise he offered me 15k each. Frankly I was expecting like SRP plus 1k. I
went ahead and pulled the trigger and had a solid profit of roughly 10k fom the
two pairs. From then on, I started selling pairs to friends and families with a
minimum charge of 1k to 3k per transaction. I would do this as a part time from
my 9 to 6 job and will only accommodate buyers when time permits me.
I would study the release calendar and study the releases and would post it in my Facebook
until I get a significant following of buyers. I would take profit from 500 a
pair to as high as 5k on every purchase totaling a profit of 15k to 25k
monthly. However, there are times that I would double that profit depending on
releases and what month of the year. It is really a very tiring and time-consuming
side job, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I guess being enamored with sneakers
made it easier.
However not all my earnings would all go in my savings. Sometimes I would get funds for
vacation trips with my family and friends. There are also instances that it is
used to pay bills, from electricity, internet, and groceries to name a few. One
thing is for sure. I was not touching my salary from my 9 to 5 work. In short, I
was saving up a significant amount. There are times that months has passed that
I haven’t touched my salary. Very very convenient indeed.
After many years of saving, finally have enough money to buy myself a car. Im not really
picky and I am economical with my purchase. So, I decided to to buy the latest
Mirage g4 hatchback mirage known for its gas mileage and sleek look. If I can
do it. I think you can do it!
