After the recent success of the Nike SB Low last Spring, Nike SB and iconic skate label Supreme are back at it once again with yet another colllab, this time on the Dunk High. Branded as “By Any Means as a moniker, it is one of fall’s hotly anticipated release, the second SB Dunk High collab with Supreme will feature a Black/White and Navy/Red colorways.
The brand’s “By Any Means” slogan is embroidered across the heel. Embedded in the phrase is a play on John Jay's Nike NYC logo. “Supreme Team” in the brand’s cursive signature is embroidered at the top of the heel, while “No Love” is embroidered at the toe (and looks to be a play on Milton Glaser’s iconic “I Love NY” slogan).
The sneaker itself features a leather base across the Nike SB mainstay boasts a“yin-and-yang” color combination, with base layers opting for a black makeup. Swoosh-accompanied“SUP” logos on the tongue label, which replace standard branding from Nike's skateboard imprint, and sole units also partake in the two-tone styling.
Another version comes through with a much bolder look, dressed in a red base with dark navy overlays creating an appealing contrast. Smooth leather is used for the upper, while the sole unit takes on a traditional look, with a white midsole and a matching navy outsole. Colours aside, the highlight of the collaborative drop is the array of oversized embroidery, which includes ‘Supreme Team’ on the rear, ‘By Any Means’ on the lateral heel, and ‘No’ on the mudguard, all of which are done in different fonts.
The little red heart caps off as an additional playful feature to this pair with a “No ❤️ " graphic.
Release date for the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk High “By Any Means” in “Black/White” and
its red and blue counterpart will hit the counters during the FW21 season right before the holidays.
