Official Images: Nike Air Max 90 'Running Club' Nike's Running Club is evidently still taking admissions into the group, with the latest silhouette to sign up being none other than the Air Max 90. Much like the current pass holders, the model is rocking some rather bright colours and some very welcomed textures. Unlike the 'Running Club' Air Max Plus and Air Max 95 iterations, the Air Max 90 is seen without strong hits of blue which has been a big part of the colour scheme on the aforementioned styles. Rather on this AM90, a whole lot more orange and green has been applied instead. Variations of those two colours make up the upper, along with a mixed construction of mesh, leather and last but not least, shaggy suede! In terms of details, you'll find retro aesthetic tongue tabs calling out Nike Air, as well as 'AMRC' and 'Beaverton, OR' tags. While the Nike Air Max 90 'Running Club' has already released at select retailers, another release date for Nike's web store is expected to land soon. The retail price tag is set at $130.

The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Wrangles a 'Wheat' Colourway The undeniably retro Nike Air Griffey Max 1 has wrangled a ‘Wheat’ colourway, giving it quite the different look to its usual renditions. In recent times, we’ve seen the high-top dressed in ‘Fresh Water’ and ‘Varsity Royal’, but this one rocks a similar vibe to the ‘Flax’ release that hit back in 2016. Currently making the most of its 25th anniversary celebrations, the Air Griffey Max 1 debuted in 1996 and was designed as a homage to baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. Noticeably inspired by the cleats that Griffey Jr. wore on the diamond during his glittering baseball career, the silhouette quickly became a popular cross training option when that whole phenomenon was taking the world by storm back in the mid- to late-90s. While the images above are of a GS-sized pair, it’s hoped the eventual release will include a full size range, with the scheme expected to be especially popular in the northern hemisphere as they approach Fall and the colder months of Winter. Pairs of the ‘Wheat’ Air Griffey Max 1 are expected to land soon at Nike and selected Swoosh stockists.
