- They already got back to him. Even the designer of the shoe ended up chiming in and verifying they were fakes. StockX taking them back and refunding his money
What’s pathetic is that is an acceptable resolution in their minds. They failed to do the one thing they’re paid to do, made the customer put a ton of time into proving they rooked him, and were made to look like dipshits in front of thousands of people, but they’ll die before they say, “…and here’s a credit for your awful experience.” I’ve bought about 5k worth of crap on StockX but their support is so miserable that I uninstalled and walked away. They shipped me clearly worn sneakers and I had to bend over backwards to make my case for them and implied I was lucky to be getting a refund, then a month or two later they shipped shoes to an old address and refused to do anything about it. I look forward to the end of their brand.

- This is crazy cause I sold a pair of KAWS 4 amd they told me they were fake when I have the recite and they did the same shit to my buddy with some just regular 12s which he also has the recite and they banned both our accounts cause they said we sold them fakes
Such a beautiful shoe though

- Fakes are so good these days I don’t trust buying anything resale these days… Doesn’t matter if it’s Goat, Cockx, Ebay, Boutiques, Etc. Either retail score or nothing for me.
It's the f2f deals of the early 2000s again We're back to meeting at subway stations and mall food courts, we're checking toe boxes and carbon fibre bits, double checking if the box is correct

- I guess I'm new/stupid because I thought the entire point of StockX was that they receive the shoes first to make sure they're legit?
That’s what they say and sorta do …. But my gripe with stockx is unlike goat which gives a card for what was checked I have no clue what stockx is checking and if it’s consistent from 1 person to the next. I know from a sellers space that I have had factory sealed decks and have tried to do a drop off for them only for them to not pass authentication (reason I was given was there’s a manufacturing flaw) …. And have turned around and resold them through stockx - which means my account was never flagged for authentication failure and that person 2 authenticating passed them through.
- eBay is great for authentic kicks at a good price frfr
Can confirm, had a pair of AMM 3s not make it to me. Resale went up in the time it took for them to reject the pair, but I’m still happy they did obv.

i think ebay uses sneakercon to authenticate so theyre probably damn good at finding fakes too

We've really done a full loop around the universe now that eBay is a reliable source for authentic products
- yup thats the process. ebay does that too, and ive heard its way more secure.

- I’m not against buying fakes for personal use, but if you buy them and sell them as real you are scum. Hope this person gets their money back and the person who sent these gets in shit. Also what the fuck Stock X :/

- I’ve had decent luck with a few pairs on StockX but I would never, ever try to buy an ultra rare or ultra hyped shoe off that website. Too many horror stories out there about shoes showing up fake.
I would never ever pay 8.5k for a pair of shoes period

- I'm still surprised if you buy shoes with high value ($1000+) that you don't get white glove treatment from theses apps. Ex. Insured courrier/direct customer service number, etc.
not to mention if you ship to where i live australia there is a import tax on goods over $1k whos going to bloody cover that cost if ive gotta ship them back to stockx for an exchange? i bet you they certainly wont
- Word. If I’m paying $1000 I need a courier to hand deliver it to me.
I've got multiple multiple pairs over 1000 shipped regular Ole ups or fed ex...never had one problem
