Boston Celtics' Majority Owner Is Selling the Team Weeks after the team won its 18th NBA Championship. The Boston Celtics’ ownership group is planning to sell the team. The news arrives just weeks after the Celtics won its first NBA Championship since 2008 and its 18th overall. Led by Wyc Grousbeck and Stephen Pagliuca, the Boston Basketball Partners LLC was formed in 2002 and purchased the team for $360 million USD. The managing board behind the group will be selling off a majority stake in the team later this year or in early 2025. Grousbeck is planning to stay on as the Governor of the Celtics until 2028. “The controlling family of the ownership group, after considerable thought and internal discussion, has decided to sell the team for estate and family planning considerations,” the statement reads. The announcement didn’t specify if the team currently has any potential buyers. According to a valuation from Forbes, the Celtics are ranked as the NBA’s fourth most valuable team at $4.7 billion USD.

Pharrell Reveals Ultra-Sized adidas Superstar 92 The padded silhouette is joined by two other models inspired by ’70s and ’80s style codes.At the Paris UNESCO headquarters on Tuesday, Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2025 menswear collection was not the only thing Pharrell unveiled; the fashion polymath also debuted his latest collaboration with adidas: a trio of Superstar sneakers. Leading the pack is the Superstar 92 (also called the “Double Wide”), which pumps up the flagship model with a supersized agenda. With ample cushioning, the shoe takes after the exaggerated proportions of skate sneakers and ski boots from the ’90s, per the brand. Notably, Pharrell first teased the statement silhouette in April, when he appeared alongside BLACKPINK’s Rosé at Tiffany’s Wonder exhibition in Tokyo in April; and he later dropped hints about the remainder of the collab via his @skateboard Instagram account. The 92 model is joined by the 72 and 82 silhouettes—both of which were seen on P’s pals throughout Paris Fashion Week. The former model toys with the athletic style tropes of the ’70s, while the latter design boasts a more sophisticated facade from the ’80s. “We created three Superstars for a reason,” Pharrell said in a statement. “We’ve moved beyond the impossible task of creating one thing for everyone. Instead, we pulled inspiration from the decades to offer three unique designs from the low-profile running look of the ’70s, the tailored elegance of the ’80s, to the bold design language of the ’90s. First Look at 2025's Nike Air Foamposite One "Galaxy" The grail’s first appearance since its original launch in 2012. Eleven years ago, sneakerheads were spotted camping out for upwards of a week just for the chance to lay their hands on the legendary Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy.” An instant classic within Nike‘s All-Star collection for 2012, fans have been clamoring for a restock for over a decade now. As interest for the silhouette continues to steadily rebuild — thanks to 2021’s CdGH+ collaboration and several colorways arriving this year — the out-of-this-world “Galaxy” pair is rumored to be returning next year. According to sneaker industry expert @zsneakerheadz, the much-desired “Galaxy” colorway is set to return in the springtime of 2024. Previously, 2018 saw the release of a spin-off colorway but it’s now slated to be reappearing in its original form. This includes its iconic graphic across the upper, mini Swooshes at the toe, a glow-in-the-dark outsole and possibly its custom hangtag as well. Only time will tell what else the Swoosh has in store for the Foamposite as it continues its triumphant return. Take a look back at the original 2012 pair above and hang tight as a tentative release period of spring 2024 is all that has been shared regarding the colorway’s return.

They have already secured the regular season title and are guaranteed home-court advantage through the playoffs. And the Orlando Magic have moved up a spot and are now in fourth seed with a record of 45-32. The Oklahoma City Thunder are the third seed and have been giving rest to their star player, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, as they prepare for a playoff push.
