Jeremy Scott’s single most noteworthy footwear collaboration to date is perhaps his original ‘Money’ Forum Mid, the 2002 runway shoe that started a 10 years long partnership with adidas Originals. Scott designed the limited edition Money Forum Hi as part of the i-sign project. The shoe featured the classic dollar print in a silk fabric.
In 2013, the 'Money Wings' 2.0 features a color-matching sole, exclusive woven jacquard and a second lacing system on the heel between the wings and goat leather lining.
Fast Forward to August of 2021, adidas Forum Jeremy Scott Wings 1.0 Money was released and retailed for $160.
Of the same kind to the high-top that returned in late August (and first launched in some variant in 2003), the low-top pair presents a modified version of US currency all throughout the upper which instantly sold out here in US when they were released at adidas confirmed app (10/21/2021).
This low-top version favors a cream color scheme compared to the high-top vesrion which donned more green.
Wings hang off each shoe’s lateral sides, with lockdown straps near the top of the tongue.
The adidas Originals outsole maintains its made-for-basketball cup-sole tread pattern, which also pampers in the above-mentioned light yellow hue.
