Key Dates for NBA 2021-2022 75th Anniversary Season
With the NBA pre-season starting today with the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets facing, we are going to look at the different dates to look out for the NBA's 75th Anniversary Season!
So mark your calendars and let's get into it.
The NBA season will start its first four days (Oct. 19-22 in Easten Time) with eight Nationally Televised head-to-head matchups with two games per day. Here are the schedules converted to Philippine time (GMT +8) :
First Day (October 20)

Second Day (October 21)
- CELTICS vs KNICKS -7:30 am

Christmas Day Games
The NBA Christmas Games will unfortunately take place in December 26 in our local time. Here are the five potential Matchups for the NBA Christmas Games

- Bucks vs Celtics - 3:30 am
- Suns vs Warriors - 6:00 am
- Lakers vs Nets - 9:00 am
- Jazz vs Mavericks - 11:30 am
NBA All-Star Game
The NBA All-Star Weeken will take place in Cleveland. The ALL-STAR GAME is set to tip-off at February 20, 2022 (February 21 , 2022 - Ph Time). The Cleveland Cavaliers last hosted the All-Star Weekend way back in 1997 when the NBA Celebrated its 50th Anniversary.
NBA Playoffs
With the 82-game NBA Season set to end its Last game on April 11 - Ph time. The Play-In tournament will be back again in 2021-2022 season 2 days after the NBA season concludes, that means it will take place in Aprill 13 to April 16 in Ph time.
The NBA PLAYOFFS is set to start on April 17 - Ph time.
