Next year will mark the 25th anniversary of when Michael Jordan first laced up the Air Jordan 12, and to celebrate, Jordan Brand is reportedly bringing back one of the model's most iconic colorways.
The Air Jordan 12 is widely considered one of the great models in the first half of Michael Jordan's signature sneaker line. Among the dozens of colorways that've emerged on the Tinker Hatfield designed sneaker, those associated with the Chicago Bulls' 1996-1997 NBA season are immensely popular, with the "Playoffs" style rumored to return this February 2022 for it's 25th anniversary.
Originally released in 1997, the Air Jordan 12 "Playoffs" have benn retroed in 2004, and 2012, with a low top silhouette dropping in 2017. In 2022, it will be 10 years since we last saw the beloved colorway available for retail.
Dressed in a Black, Varsity Red, and White color scheme. This "Playoffs" edition of the Air Jordan 12 will come constructed in original form featuring a Black leather upper with White appearing on the mudguard, midsole, and rubber outsole. Other details includes Mettalic Silver upper eyelets and Red covering the branded areas.
Look for the Air Jordan 12 "Playoffs" to release on February 2022 at selected retailers such as Titan 22/Park Access via Cop & Rock/Jordan Manila and Nike SNKRS. Just wait for more updates regarding to this release. The retail price tag is set at ₱9,995 pesos.
