Do you remember the first Kanye West and the Gap drop? The brand released an amuse-bouche which reveived mixed reaction - a slightly puffy, metallic sky-blue “round jacket”.
Now after months of enticing Instagram leaks, the Yeezy Gap hoodie finally dropped (pre-order basis) this morning around 0600 PT, the most recent silhouette from the duo’s ongoing partnership has officially hit Gap’s online store.
The sweatshirt is an instant classic, a beefy double-layer cotton done up in the dusty-hued palette that’s become a West signature — and people around the world have been enthusiastic to get their hands on.
All six hoodies come in unisex sizing for both adults and children.
Remarkably, there are no drawstrings or hood details. The hoodie is considerably oversized and baggy, featuring an exaggerated drop shoulder, tightly ribbed cuffs and hem, and a large pouch pocket on the front.
It is also the same piece that Kanye West has been wearing recently, which gives us a better understanding of how it fits.
