As of this writing, the Philippines just registered its highest recorded positives
in a day at 22,415 single day tally on September 6, 2021. The delta variant the
most prominent strain in the Philippines is spreading like wildfire. Three out of every
four Filipinos getting infected with COVID-19 are now caused by the Delta
variant and cases of this highly transmissible virus that is fueling surges
worldwide are in all the 17 regions across the country, the Department of
Health (DOH) said on Monday. The DOH said all areas in the country were showing an
increase in the number of cases, with Metro Manila and areas in Luzon showing a
steep spike.
So, what does it min to us sneakerheads? Well, it mins that going to stores like Titan
and even Jordan store will put your health to risk. It does not matter if you
are vaccinated. You will still be infected but the chance of you dying will be
minimal. However, people in your circle that includes friends and family
members who are unvaccinated will be at risk. I m talking about the elderly and
the sickly with comorbidity diseases. Did I mention the children? Well yeah you
practically become a walking time bomb if infected.
According to the DOH, the regions with the highest reported new cases
are Metro Manila, Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon), Central
Luzon, Ilocos and Central Visayas.
Vergeire said the confirmed COVID-19 cases showed a steep increase last
month, with a new peak in new cases weekly since the second week of August.
The average daily reported cases stood at 18,292, which was 11 percent
higher than the 16,513 average daily cases recorded in the previous week.
The DOH said all areas in the country were showing an increase in the
number of cases, with Metro Manila and areas in Luzon showing a steep spike.
Metro Manila and 11 other regions were classified as high risk due to
their elevated average daily attack rate (Adar) ranging from 33.6 infected
persons for every 100,000 population in Metro Manila to 8.85 Adar in
Soccsksargen (South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, General
Santos).
So, for God’s sake. Is it worth it to risk your
life or your family’s life for a small profit? I say No! I’m not telling you
what to do but this is just an advice. The releases will never stop. But once you get infected and get a serious one. make sure you have atleast half a million to cover the hospital bills. I have many sneakerheads in my circle who got infected recently and its kinda depressing as it could have been prevented. The moment you remove that facemask. The risk increases ten folds. If it cant be helped then make sure you dont relax. May it be getting a pair instore or linning up for a pair for unclaimed shoes.

Titan and Jordan store aint going no where. New shoe releases will continue. The hype will not die down. But when you die. Everything will stop. Make the right decision fam..
