Baluarte Resort and Mini Zoo @ Vigan A tricycle took us to the outskirts of Vigan where Baluarte Resort and Mini Zoo was located. We opted for a P50 e-cab tour. At the waiting area, a rather disheveled ostrich was practicing target pecking with a small tarp flying in the wind. A rather skinny camel was grazing the meager grass in a nearby enclosure. At least I got to pet a cute and cuddly kid – a baby goat, of course – before we hopped on our ride.

A Genshin Impact fan has shared an interesting concept in which they've managed to combine two popular characters, Ayaka and Faruzan. The game runs on a gacha-based system which is the main reason why the focus of each new update is on the playable roster which is the main source of revenue for most gacha games. It seems like over the last couple of months, developer HoYoverse has established an interesting pattern of introducing two new characters to the roster with every new update. Genshin Impact has a huge community and the game's unique approach to character design often inspires fans to create and share their own art.

Honkai: Star Rail is a goofy sci-fi Genshin Impact that actually respects your time For those who don't spend their evenings skipping Paimon's dialogue and collecting resources in Genshin's vast open world, levelling characters and equipping them with the best gear is important for late-game content, but it's almost entirely optional. The appeal is pulling a character from the gacha system and getting them to a level you can clear content with, either just because you want them in your team, or in order to experiment with unique party lineups. Although Star Rail has traded hack-and-slash combat for a turn-based system (more on this interesting choice later), it seems to promote the exact same gameplay loop. I made a team of four characters I liked to play with, rather than meticulously reading stats to suss who had the best damage capabilities, and I never had a problem with progressing through the main story - and it took me about the quarter of the time it took to get four characters to the equivalent level in Genshin. That main story might be as divisive as people's opinions on turn-based combat, not because it's bad, but because it's the typical melodramatic anime-inspired ridiculousness that either attracts or repels people.

Vivo’s New X90 Series Smartphones are Co-Engineered with Zeiss。Vivo has launched its new X90 series smartphones as part of its continued partnership with Zeiss in a bid to compete against the best mobile photography brands available. (Type) One Purpose The X90 Pro is the latest phone to get a Type-1 sensor, though Vivo prefers to call it a “one-inch sensor” which could be misleading for a few reasons. Either way, the Sony IMX989 in the 50-megapixel wide camera is the key to the system at play here, using pixel binning to shoot at 12.5-megapixels with 3.2mm, helped further by an f/1.75 aperture and 77% photosensitive area. Vivo and Zeiss both claim these specs, coupled with optical image stabilization and upgraded software, will improve the night algorithm. That should not only result in better photos in all conditions, but particularly make them look nicer in low-light settings. It also means new modes like a handheld Astro mode to capture starry skies without a tripod. Zeiss’ Cine-Flare Portrait will be a new option within the camera’s Portrait mode to simulate the flare effects from more professional shots.

List of materials to farm for free Yaoyao in Genshin Impact Yaoyao is the brand new 4-star unit that will be introduced to Genshin Impact alongside update 3.4. This update will also be part of the Lantern Rite festival, which is done to commemorate the Chinese New Year on an annual basis. A brief list of all the ascension materials for Yaoyao has been provided here so that players can farm them beforehand. Yaoyao is arguably one of the most anticipated 4-star units in the game, and several players will be looking to pull for her as soon as she is made available. There have been numerous leaks regarding the banners that might be coming along with the 2022 Lantern Rite festival. The brand new Dendro DPS unit Alhaitham has already been confirmed, but there are also leaks hinting at the return of Hu Tao and Shenhe. There is also information regarding the release of an Ayaka skin, which has made the Cryo sword user one of the potential candidates for a rerun. Lastly, Yelan is another high-demand unit that fans are hoping will get her first rerun during Lantern Rite.

Genshin Impact fans celebrate their hot and buff nerd, Alhaitham Hoyoverse sneakily announced two new playable characters for Genshin Impact last night during The Game Awards 2022. The first was a young girl named Yaoyao, and the other was the reasoned academic Alhaitham. The scholar has played an extremely active role in player’s journeys in the new Sumeru region so far, and so now fans are celebrating his official announcement as a playable character at long last. Genshin Impact is currently in its 3.3 patch and the devious baddie Scaramouche, now known as the Wanderer, has joined the story after a boss fight with him in the 3.2 patch. The mainline story of the game has taken place in a region called Sumeru since late August, and Alhaitham has aided the Traveler as an ally since then. He’s been with us pretty much every step of the way in the region and because of this, some fans speculated he would become playable in an earlier patch. But he was a no show until Hoyoverse surprise-revealed him last night.

Here’s why you can trust us. Home Games RPG Genshin Impact Genshin Impact scoops a Golden Joystick trophy for the Still Playing award By Iain Harris published 1 day ago The popular open-world RPG has kept the updates coming thick and fast (opens in new tab) (opens in new tab) (opens in new tab) (opens in new tab) COMMENTS Genshin Impact has won the Still Playing award at the Golden Joystick Awards. Released back in 2020, developer Hoyoverse has kept the open-world RPG topped up with plenty of updates, rarely missing its target of releasing a patch every six weeks. It’s no wonder that sticking with Genshin Impact has been a breeze for so many players. The quality of each update proves strong, too, with Genshin Impact beating out competition from last year’s winners Final Fantasy 14, alongside Destiny 2, Apex Legends, and more to take home the prize While Genshin Impact has seen plenty of updates this year – offering more story content, new characters, and more – the pick of the bunch proves to be patch 3.0, otherwise known as The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings update. Not only did we get our usual helping of new faces, more weapons, and another slice of story content, we got a whole new region to explore called Sumeru and the new Dendro character element to keep combat fresh. We’re certainly fans of the update, too. Discussing the Genshin Impact 3.0 patch, Austin Wood writes: “Visually, mechanically, and narratively, Sumeru positively pops. It's an entire game worth of content added onto an already gigantic world that's totally free to play. As someone who's prone to open-world fatigue, I still can't believe how much or how long I've been playing Genshin and how eagerly I look forward to playing more.”

Genshin Impact Has Made Farming So Tedious, I'm Regretting Everything I can’t do it. I’m not strong enough. I skipped 18 weeks of Genshin Impact banners to ensure that I could get Nahida, but farming materials for her is so unpleasant. This isn’t just a problem for fans of the tragic goddess. Sumeru is just the worst area for collecting any kind of material. Things are so dire that I’ve left my new characters to sit on the backburner. Why play Candace or Collei when I could simply slaughter everything with my pre-built Ayaka or Xiao? In Genshin Impact, you can’t simply max characters by using them in battle a ton. Every 10 to 20 levels, you have to unlock the ability to increase their levels further by offering them certain materials. Some of these are easily obtained through daily quests or battles, but the most time-consuming materials can only be found in the overworld. If you don’t unlock these levels, then your characters won’t get their best passive abilities either. To ensure that your characters are the best they can be, exploration is inevitable. This isn’t a problem in the Mondstadt region, where special leveling ingredients can be found in designated sub-areas. Inazuma is a little stingier, but it’s still generous enough that you can more or less stay in one area to farm all of your necessities. Sumeru, though? Sumeru is hell. I once loved exploring the forested regions, which allowed me to zip back and forth across all directions. That was before I had to start collecting Rukkhadevata Mushrooms for Collei. There are only a few places where they’re clumped together. If you really need the mushrooms, you’ll have to find each one individually in various areas. Don’t even talk to me about Kalotpala Lotuses. You must grab them off towering cliffs, and they’re so easy to miss if you’re not looking at them at precisely the right angle. It feels like every single plant is like that. You have to explore every inch of the map to farm what the new characters need, meaning it takes longer to get to a point where I feel comfortable using them for regular play. I don’t mind exploration! I love it! But not when it’s directly tied to character progression. The desert region was much more trying on my patience. Everything is 50 miles apart, including fast travel points. And unlike most open world games, you don’t get a horse or other method of quicker traversal. So you’re stuck running across a very boring looking desert until you find a cactus with the coveted Henna Berry, which is necessary to promote Candace. Oh, the things I do for a hot spear girl who could probably bench press me.

Another new game (or not really) I am obsessively hooked on this friggin game! Here are the updates on iT! Nahida is a Dendro DPS that will fulfill nearly all of your Dendro application needs, whether she is played on-field or off-field. Her Elemental Skill damages and applies Dendro on up to eight enemies multiple times with just a single Skill use. It can also act as a long-range item grabber on some of the items found in the open world, and unlock new dialogue from NPCs. This talent should be prioritized. Her Elemental Burst deals no damage on its own, but takes team composition into consideration, offering buffs based on how many of each of Electro, Hydro, and Pyro characters are in Nahida's Party. Up to two characters for each element will be factored into the following buffs; two characters of an element will offer a better version of the below buffs than one. Nahida's Burst buffs scale with her talent level, so this is also worth leveling as high as possible, but make sure you focus on the Skill first. Layla is a support character focused on shielding your team and applying Cryo to enemies using her Elemental Skill. Since her shield is based on her Max HP, it is best to maximize her HP stat through her weapons and artifacts. Her constellations will further make her shields more effective as well as make it easier for her to get energy to cast her Elemental Burst. Layla can be built purely for damage, but it ends up being less beneficial for the team in the long run. Her fourth constellation increases the party's damage based on her max HP, making that stat important for her performance. For talents, you might want to increase her Elemental Skill's level first, following her elemental burst, then her normal attack last if you want to focus on her capability to protect your team with her shields. Luckily, Layla does not need to build a ton of Energy Recharge to Burst frequently, and so she won't need a second Cryo character to generate energy for her either. This helps her team flexibility.

Luka Dončić, Ja Morant Headline 1st NBA 2K23 Ratings Update for 2022-23 Season Luka Dončić—averaging 36.1 points per game this season, tops in the NBA—is getting a plus-one boost in his rating, bringing him to a 96 overall. Ja Morant, meanwhile, got a similar plus-one boost to a 94 overall after his incredible start to the season that has seen him post 31.4 points per game. And Orlando Magic rookie Paolo Banchero got a huge five-point boost up to an 83 after his promising start to his career. Indiana Pacers rookie Bennedict Mathurin got an even bigger plus-six bump, bringing him to an 80 overall. Not everybody is feeling the love, however. Ben Simmons, amid a foul-laden start to his Brooklyn Nets career, is down to an 80 after seeing the game developer dock him three overall rating points. Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns is down to an 87, meanwhile, after being downgraded by two overall rating points.

Best 3PT Shooters in NBA 2K23 Stephen Curry (3PT Rating – 99) Curry needs no introduction. The four-time NBA champion has been dominant with his 3PT shooting in the regular season and playoffs, even winning the three-point contest twice in 2015 and in 2021. With so many accolades, we don’t need to persuade anyone to get Curry — it’s pretty clear already. Within the game, Curry is maxed out on three-point shooting with an attribute rating of 99. That is truly astounding. Derrick Walton Jr. (3PT Rating – 89) Derrick Walton is currently a free agent within a game, though he does play in Australia for Sydney Kings as a point guard. Originally undrafted in 2017, Walton has played for some serious teams in the NBA and Euroleague, including Miami Heat, BC Žalgiris, Alba Berlin, LA Clippers and Detroit Pistons. Walton is not a shabby player but never played big minutes in the NBA until his last season in 2021-22, where he averaged 36.0 minutes per game. In NBA 2K23, Walton has a three-point rating of 89. Kevin Durant (3PT Rating – 88) A player that always seems to get the headlines is Kevin Durant. After years in the NBA, Durant has established himself as one of the top players in the league, even winning the league back-to-back in 2017 and 2018. Durant also holds four NBA scoring titles and is a 12-time NBA All-Star. Currently, with Brooklyn Nets, he looks to win the NBA title again. He now has a 3PT rating of 88 within the game. Desmond Bane (3PT Rating – 88) The 30th pick in the 2020 draft, Desmond Bane, is becoming a beloved player among Memphis Grizzlies’ fans. Bane is a 6 foot 5 shooting guard with a solid outside range that has helped him land the NBA All-Rookie Second Team inclusion in 2021. In the 2021-22 season, Bane averaged .436 in 3P%. Bane’s three-point rating within the game is 88. Luke Kennard (3PT Rating – 88) LA Clippers’ Luke Kennard joined the NBA in 2017 after being drafted 12th overall. Prior to joining the league, he played for the elite Duke college team and was McDonald’s All-American in 2015. Kennard led the league last season in 3P% with an impressive .449 in 70 games, averaging 27.4 minutes per game. Kennard has a rating of 88 in three-point shooting. Klay Thompson (3PT Rating – 88) Thompson of the Golden State Warriors is another player that needs no intro. Like Curry, he is a four-time NBA champion and has won the three-point contest once back in 2016. Thompson is a five-time NBA all-star and last season averaged .385 in 3P% within 32 games (due to injury). Within NBA 2K23, he has a three-point rating of 88. Luka Doncic (3PT Rating – 87) The Doncic fever is large among Mavericks fans and its clear why; the 23-year-old has already established himself as one of the best in the league since joining the Mavericks from Real Madrid in 2018. Doncic has won many awards in Europe and the NBA, including becoming a EuroLeague champion in 2018 and becoming a three-time All-Star in 2022. Doncic averaged .353 in 3P% last season. Game-wise he is rated 87 on 3PT shooting. Read more: Best 3PT Shooters in NBA 2K23 - Our Culture https://ourculturemag.com/2022/10/16/best-3pt-shooters-in-nba-2k23

How to Fast Travel in The City Though The City in NBA 2K23 is smaller than last year’s iteration, it’s still good to have Fast Travel for instantly warping between locations. That’s where the fast-travel train station comes in. By pressing RB/R1, you can find one close to your character and navigate to it. These stations look like subway stations and act as spawn locations whenever you enter the game. Here are all the different fast travel stations in the game: East Mall Station The Block North Station Knights Station West Mall Station Arena/One City Plaza Wildcats Station Event Center Beasts Station Vipers Station

NBA 2K23 Update 1.05 Patch Notes hit Current Gen on October 12 A massive download has been deployed on Xbox One and PS4, Bug Fixes Addressed a bug where players were getting error codes after the jcole quest. MyNBA Eras rosters are now removed from Play Now. Addressed a bug where players fail to load various game modes. Fixed game crashing issues. Online game stability improvements. General stability and performance improvements. Other minor fixes. Known Issues The bug where post hooks can green w/o releasing the stick is a known issue and a fix will roll out later. As these notes show, this patch is mostly about keeping the game running for those who were having problems. If you’re someone who was experiencing regular crashes of any kind with the game up until now, you should be good to go. Of course, this is still a relatively minor update, so we’ll have to hold out hope that something a bit more major is in the works for next month.

The NBA 2K23 MyTeam Card That Is Going To Change The Mode. There has been no announcement, but it only makes sense. A Victor Wembanyama card is likely coming to NBA 2K23 at some point over the next 6-8 months. When it arrives, expect it to blow up whatever pack series it is included in, and for the price of the card to perhaps break records in the auction house. In the event you’re unaware who Wembanyama is, here is about all you need to know when considering how unstoppable his card will be when and if it debuts in NBA 2K23’s MyTeam. Wembanyama is a legit 7-foot-5 French prospect expected to be the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. In case you’re questioning if Wembanyama is really that tall, take a look at this short video of him standing next to countryman and current Minnesota Timberwolves star Rudy Gobert.
