YEEZY 700 V1 “Hi-Res Red-looking fiery!!

Coming back from a short hiatus — save a Waverunner restock — the first edition of Ye’s 700 model will return this summer with a red-hot new colorway dubbed the YEEZY 700 v1 “Hi-Res Red”

A very first look at the pair shows the titular red hue hitting the collar and mid panel, before a collage of colors flood the forefoot and sole. Starting with black suede overlays, the pair then looks to grey and burgundy mesh across the toe, and grey suede caps. Underfoot is a muted orange-red midsole, complete with pops of orange and teal that tie back to the OG Waverunner colors. A rush of red is applied on the outsole tread, before light burgundy laces up top round out the design.

Some say the Yeezy 700 is the Yeezy 350’s successor. The instantly recognisable Yeezy It shoes are super comfortable, semi-accessible and available in a slew of novel colorways — just three reasons why all four versions of the shoe are so prevalent today.

Back in 2017, the first Yeezy 700 was released as Kanye’s interpretation of the dad shoe trend. The original design consists of a plush layered upper, uber-thick Boost midsole, an OrthoLite inner sole and a thick pair of laces; essentially, it looks like a chunky 90s kick created with premium materials.

Since 2017, the Yeezy 700 has evolved multiple times to conform to current trends, bringing us the Yeezy Boost 700 V2, Yeezy 700 V3 and Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN.
