We are back again with another sneakerhead Tuesday.
This week we have one of the dopest sneakerhead I know with his vast repertoire
of sneakers not to mention limited caps and gears at his disposal. This week we
have none other than Kristoff Erson. Kris is one of the admins of Jordan Brand
Only and a certified Ka-Jor from top to bottom.
Tell us about yourself.
"Im a very fun to be with kind of a guy and have passion for collecting
designer clothes, caps, and sneakers. Been in the game for a very long time and ive seen it all. That being said i have collected a considerable number of sneakers and caps".
Why do you collect sneakers?
Since i was a kid, i really love sneakers. It gives me joy whenever i see or wear them. I grew up
watching the Chicago Bulls, MJ is my Idol. They are also fashionable and easy to wear may it be casual or formal i can pull them off. Most of my pairs i wear them as they give me confidence and motivation to work hard like what Mike tought me when i was a kid when he was still playing.
What do you think about sneaker scene in the country?
The population is getting bigger and bigger each year, more hype beast are coming in. The saying that a sneakerhead is born every hour is an understatement. I believe that a sneakerhead is born when we start to wear our first shoe as an infant. Most of the shoe that we wear is nostalgic to what we had growing up and it translates to our taste and fashion as an adult.
Do you agree on reselling sneakers for profit?
Yes. Specially in this time of pandemic. Everyone needs an extra income and as long as you are doing it the right way why not? Reselling sneakers
is the same as selling a house or your basic commodity. I mean you are not
forcing someone to buy it from you anyway. Plus, it’s a luxury purchase and we
all have our own economic capability. If you have the money then by all means.
If Jordan brand will have a local Collab, which brand artist or athlete would you like to be
featured?
Jordan brand and Manny Pacquiao is a good collab. Since Pacman is
recognized around the world, He represent Filipino’s our pride.
What do you think about the recent price hike of Jordan with its shoes?
well there’s nothing we can do about it, law of supply and demand. If you really like the shoe, and you can afford it buy them.

Any parting words to young sneakerheads out there or advice?
Patience is really the key and your time will come. You may not be able to afford it now but soon you will if you study hard and work hard for it. There is no short cuts to success and be always hungry. Master your craft and be good at what you do. Once you are there be humble and help others out. Be a very good model to anyone and stay away from trouble.
