Sneakers have been used by people extensively from the last 40 years ever since Michael
Jordan stepped into court wearing the first Air Jordan 1s. Many enterprising
people have been able to generate income as a result of the creation of a
secondary market for sneakers. Since the last four years, the sneaker reselling
culture has grown significantly in the Philippines and is considered as an emerging
alternative investment avenue, especially among the Millennials (Gen Y), and
Zoomers (Gen Z).

Yesterday the Air Jordan 1 High"Rebellionaire" came out and Im telling you, people are mad
sleeping on this pair. Well for good reasons. One reason could be, people are still
recovering from the pandemic financially. I mean things are really getting
better but buyers are just too cautious in buying sneakers specially hyped
one's. The increase of the price from 8095 to 9095 is also one of the deterrents.
Second could be because of the influx of the Jordan 1 silhouette may it be High
Mids or Lows. I min it’s the same shoe but different colors and shading so what’s
really the point of buying a new one? Third and this is just me. We lost a big
market in the Philippines and that is the Chinese market. 2 years ago, you won’t
have a chance to get small sizes as these sizes are sold to the Chinese buyers
at premium price. Now small sizes are lower in price and much easier to get and
that is because of China’s soft ban on Nike products.

The sneaker uses the same colorway and color blocking as the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow” with a distressed leather upper and lettering printed throughout the sneaker. The Shadow portion of the sneaker features “They Can’t Stop You From Wearing Them” printed throughout and is inspired by the Air Jordan 1 commercial from 1985. Red Xs are seen on the heel similarly from the Air Jordan 1 “Banned” and a white midsole and Shadow outsole finish off the sneaker.

Now why am i saying that this pair is worth the hype and is perfect for holding? Here are 8 reasons why i do believe its worth the hold.

1.Its a Jordan 1 High and they dont go down always goes up as time goes by.

2.Great craftmanship and packaging. I mean look at the box and the paper itself.

3.The shoe is unique in terms of design while still holding that retro nostalgic jordan 1 vibe.

4.The price now is very low for its value and in a few years this will double and will not be surprised if tripple the current value.

5.The banned X logo in the back holds value.

6.Limited pairs are released locally around 66 pairs via web last saturday or a very good approximate is 300 pairs more or less in PH. Overseas release are in selected stores.

7.The economy is slowly moving back to its pre pandemic state and the buying capacity of your regulars will be back.

8.There are still many collectors out there who wants to grab this pair.

So if you are reading this and have the money to invest a minimum of 10 pairs. Now is the best time to do it. Better than putting it in the bank which gives you pennies after 1 to 2 years. We are talking about gaining a minimum of 30% profit. I could be wrong or i could be right. We will know in the next following months.
