LaMelo Ball debuts signature shoes at NBA Summer League.

There will be no stopping for a promising future to the 2020-21 NBA Rookie of the Year. LaMelo Ball showed off the MB1 to the court on the 1st day of the NBA Summer League 2021 in Vegas when the Charlotte Hornets faced the Portland Trail Blazers.230525449_581189393256173_166038808214084920_n.jpg

Ball signed with Puma last August 2020 and is reported to be worth around the $100million mark with a promise signature shoes. Melo is also the first Ball Brother to land a sneaker deal outside of Big Baller Brand.

Riding in on Puma’s private jet, LaMelo and Puma hinted the signature shoes in recent weeks on social media and rocking in off in the sidelines spectating his brother Gelo at the Summer League.231566440_328152639010650_4471597058032634051_n.jpg

Puma opted to grant LaMelo his signature shoes, MB1, with its first colorway of bold in its appearance as most of the ground is wrapped in a vivid red hue. Uppers look to be engineered with a mesh material that sports various grooves across the lateral and medial heels. Down under, you’ll find various personal branding that’s printed out in black. The tongues feature a “1-of-1” spell out, while the bottom of the throat has a “Not From Here” hit which is Ball’s personal motto.231438282_4245040838945369_414474198354493602_n.jpg

Sandwiched in between is a bird-like logo whose wings spread across the mesh tongues and Puma‘s stripe is slapped onto the outer sides of the toe boxes. Additionally, the midsoles are carved out with diamond-like textures on the lateral heels.There's no schedule of release yet for Melo’s sig shoes, but it’s likely that Puma will unveil these ahead of the upcoming NBA season.lamelo-ball-puma-mb1.jpg

Other notable NBA players rocking Puma’s are DeMarcus Cousins, DeAndre Ayton and Kyle Kuzma.
