Kanye West x Nike is finally here! This is the first time I've seen the real thing! Each of Kanye West's album covers can be called a work of art. Recently, an overseas customizer brought a pair of new color Dunk Low inspired by the album cover "Graduation". This cover was designed by artist Takashi Murakami, with a flat design, bright colors and seemingly childish cartoon characters. If you are familiar with Murakami's works, it is not difficult to see that he was the one who designed the cover of "Graduation". Back to this pair of customized shoes, no matter the color matching or the details, they must be used to the greatest extent possible. The dopamine color tone presented as a whole still has a good sense of fashion today. In fact, a long time ago, some netizens designed multiple pairs of Yeezy Boost 700 inspired by Kanye West's album.

Behind the HYPE: How the Air Jordan 1 Changed the Sneaker Game Soaring from hardwood battles to Tokyo’s trendsetting streets and the grit of skate culture, the Air Jordan 1 remains a timeless icon. The Air Jordan 1, a cultural phenomenon instantly recognizable by its iconic colorways like “The Chicago,” “The Bred,” and “The Royal,” wasn’t just a sneaker; it was a revolution. Debuting in 1985, the brainchild of designer Peter Moore, the Air Jordan 1 marked a pivotal moment in sneaker history. In this Behind the HYPE episode, we explore the AJ1’s rise to fame and its continuing impact on sports and global pop culture. This high-top marvel broke the mold with its premium leather construction and audacious designs. It wasn’t long before the Air Jordan 1 became a symbol of not just basketball prowess, but of individuality and defiance. The story took a legendary turn when the NBA, with its uniform restrictions, famously banned the black and red colorway. This controversy, however, only fueled the fire. With all eyes on Nike and the young star Michael Jordan, the ban became a marketing coup, solidifying the Air Jordan 1’s place in sneaker lore. As the Air Jordan 1 celebrates its 40th anniversary, its cultural significance remains undeniable. High-profile collabs with the likes of Virgil Abloh and brands like Dior have ensured the sneaker’s continued relevance in the ever-evolving fashion world. From its rebellious beginnings on the court to its reign on the streets, the Air Jordan 1 stands alongside titans like the Chuck Taylor All-Star and the Adidas Stan Smith as a symbol of innovation and enduring style. It continues to inspire generations of sneaker enthusiasts worldwide, solidifying its place as a cultural icon.

NEEDLES Reveals Spring/Summer 2025 Collection A striking presentation of patterned apparel. NEEDLES is gearing up for its next seasonal release. The NEPENTHES label has revealed its dynamic Spring/Summer 2025 range: a captivating and colorful collection that captures a range of style codes and aesthetics while still feeling cohesive. Slated for a release sometime in 2025, NEEDLES’ SS25 delivery melds a mixture of cut-and-sew styles presenting a patterned image of casual sportswear and distinguished tailored garments. A pair of pastel tracksuits point to NEEDLES’ tried-and-true design DNA. Other more casual-coded pieces include loose-fitting trousers and shorts, with printed dresses and skirts also emulating the flowy fit of the pants. Standing out among the offering is a lineup of vibrantly patterned jackets, including plaid blazers, checkered and cheetah-printed overcoats and a pilot-style bomber jacket. Elsewhere, an army green military-style vest matches the aesthetic of the latter, surfacing in the same earthy hues and finished off with peace sign patches stamped throughout.

Mourinho, who manages Fenerbahce, appears in the campaign enjoying the simple pleasures of life, like sipping an espresso, sitting leisurely at a street cafe, enjoying a pastry while reading the newspaper, and holding a football in his arm. The shoes are a departure from the first two Sambas that JJJJound made, which were plays on the original colorways of the shoe. Those included a black pair with white stripes, and a white pair with black stripes, both with gum soles and yellow liners.

First Look at the Nike KD 4 "Christmas" Originally unveiled in 2011, the silhouette is slate to make a comeback later this year. The Nike KD 4 “Christmas” is slated for a comeback later this year. Originally debuting as a part of 2011’s festive releases, the shoe was crafted by Leo Chang and first hit the courts on Christmas Day 2011 when Kevin Durant wore them to face off against the Orlando Magic. The shoe takes on a metallic copper and black color scheme and is constructed with a hyperfuse upper in the metallic bronze. It also features an adaptive fit strap for a secure lockdown for quick transitions on the court. The strap features black details to complement the shoe’s low ankle collar, allowing for flexibility. The shoe’s forefoot features a Zoom Air unit giving it light cushioning. The KD branding features a Christmas cookie for the festivities and comes with an extra set of green and red laces.

Y-3 Outfits the Japan Football Association With Jerseys and Culturewear: Marking the first time that Yohji Yamamoto has worked with Japan’s national football team. The Japanese national squad has long been known as “Samurai Blue,” and Yamamoto’s design riffs off that name with an ultra-dark navy base, several shades deeper than the more royal blue used on Japan’s 2022 international kits and the sky blue present on its centenary kits from 2021. Atop this rich blue base sits a simmering blue flame that burns at its hottest down near its bottom hem but also creeps all the way up onto the front left shoulder, using a similar sublimated style as seen on the aforementioned Real Madrid and Palace kits. Final details are provided by Japan’s football crest and a Y-3 logo on the center chest. It’s also worth noting that flame graphics have long had a special place in the team’s heritage: in 1998, the first year they qualified for the World Cup, they wore now-legendary flame-embellished jerseys</a from ASICS. Seeing as the kits have yet to be officially revealed, there’s no further info on what Yamamoto’s other tops or bottoms look like at the time of writing. Stay tuned for more updates as they’re made available.

First Look at 2025's Nike Air Foamposite One "Galaxy" The grail’s first appearance since its original launch in 2012. Eleven years ago, sneakerheads were spotted camping out for upwards of a week just for the chance to lay their hands on the legendary Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy.” An instant classic within Nike‘s All-Star collection for 2012, fans have been clamoring for a restock for over a decade now. As interest for the silhouette continues to steadily rebuild — thanks to 2021’s CdGH+ collaboration and several colorways arriving this year — the out-of-this-world “Galaxy” pair is rumored to be returning next year. According to sneaker industry expert @zsneakerheadz, the much-desired “Galaxy” colorway is set to return in the springtime of 2024. Previously, 2018 saw the release of a spin-off colorway but it’s now slated to be reappearing in its original form. This includes its iconic graphic across the upper, mini Swooshes at the toe, a glow-in-the-dark outsole and possibly its custom hangtag as well. Only time will tell what else the Swoosh has in store for the Foamposite as it continues its triumphant return. Take a look back at the original 2012 pair above and hang tight as a tentative release period of spring 2024 is all that has been shared regarding the colorway’s return.
