Wales Bonner’s Spring/Summer 2025 presentation during Men’s Paris Fashion Week unveiled another adidas collaboration by the British designer. When it comes to big sneaker reveals at Paris Fashion Week, all eyes are on Wales Bonner because of its ongoing partnership with adidas Originals. Since 2020, these two parties consistently link up every season to create stunning shoes and apparel. Of course, one sneaker that’s constantly revisited in these collaborations are good ol’ adidas Sambas. Wales Bonner’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection celebrates the beloved Trinidadian-born British artist and textile designer Althea McNish. So many of the looks in Wales Bonner’s latest collection are inspired by nightlife in Caribbean cities by the sea. That explains why these new adidas Sambas, which seem to come in black and silver sequin colors, shimmer like beach water lit up under moonlight. Aside from these adidas Sambas, Wales Bonner’s Spring/Summer 2025 collaboration with adidas also includes a range of leisurewear silhouettes for men and women alongside two other sneakers. A new adidas footwear silhouette, dubbed the Country Low, appeared in khaki suede and black and white leather colorways. There was also a deconstructed Superstar Hi-top done up in suede. The addition of these two other adidas sneakers doesn’t mark the first time we’ve seen Wales Bonner step away from the Samba silhouette. And of course, Wales Bonner isn’t the sole force pushing the wider adidas Samba trend right now.

BAPE Teases Upcoming Collaboration with XBOX Set to be completely unveiled July 13. BAPE has taken to its social channels to tease a collaboration with XBOX. At the time of writing, little information has been shared about the collaboration beyond a single photo and a July 13 release date. What we can gather from the photo is that the two will likely drop a limited-edition console, as well as an accompanying capsule collection. This collection appears to feature a hoodie, a pair of shorts, various t-shirts and a sneaker — item specifics and pricing are yet to be shared. With the details still to be announced, it’s possible we could see a special edition controller as well, like the XBOX One collab from 2014 or even game-specific merch or in-game assets like those from BAPE’s collaboration with PUBG in 2019. BEAMS has announced a new collaboration with Lacoste, featuring a specially designed long-sleeved t-shirt available in four different colorways: blanc, natural, noir and marine. Adidas will continue its long history of collaborations with Japanese streetwear brand Bape next year by releasing two Bape versions of the Adidas Superstar and a collection of accompanying apparel, according to an internal Adidas document that was viewed by Complex. The collection is set to arrive around March 2025, the document says.

Bronny James Honors Juice WRLD With No. 9 Jersey Explaining why he chose the number in a recent press event. Bronny James has chosen a number for his jersey and it has a touching meaning behind it. In a recent introductory press conference with the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this week, Bronny explained that he wanted to honor late artist Juice WRLD with the No. 9 one his jersey. The 19-year-old rookie told press that he picked the number because the artist referenced it throughout his career. Bronny also has the same number tattooed on him and explained, “Juice [WRLD] has just been a big part of me keeping calm in situations that I’ve been through. Just paying homage to him, especially because he passed. It’s a really important thing for me.” In another interview Bronny mentioned that he often listened to Juice before playing. Bronny recently signed a four-year deal worth $7.9 million USD with the Lakers. He is set to play as a part of the California Classic Summer League and the Las Vegas Summer League this month.
