    Yea Piet Parra said you're not supposed to tear the top layer off, but it's designed to fray when you skate them. It makes sense because that top layer is, like, lightly glued to the bottom layer.

    They are pretty sturdy, it won't tear off if you don't want them to (at least that's the vibe I get from them).

    Would easily be parra's, if the the top layer couldn't be torn off

    They are pretty sturdy, it won't tear off if you don't want them to (at least that's the vibe I get from them).
