Like his previous work, this year’s pair takes a literal approach, decking out the forefoot in a strawberry textured finish, while ganja-like suedes grace the heel overlays and Swooshes. Collars arrive in plush green valor — also in reference to sweet Mary Jane — and it’s all wrapped up with a translucent-blue sole unit. Completing the design is a coughing strawberry character embroidered on the lateral ankle, a motif that appears again over the insoles. It will likely arrive with special-edition packaging, but that is yet to be sighted.
