It hasn't been a while since Puma released the classic speed cat and suede in new colorways, the brand's been gearing up for another exciting drop and becoming a major footwear now! I am seated! PUMA is back at it with the Mostro sneaker, giving it a fresh spin for summer. After dropping it in bright green and grey earlier this year, they’ve now launched sleek new black and white versions. Originally hitting the scene in 1999 with its distinctive spiked sole and strap closure, the Mostro made a comeback at PUMA’s carnival-inspired runway show during New York Fashion Week in February. PUMA’s creative director, Heiko Desens, even described it as a "weird shoe," standing out from the crowd in its own unique way. Now, it’s back to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Named after the Italian word for "monster," the Mostro lives up to its name with its eye-catching design. The latest drop features two premium versions crafted from perforated leather, showcasing a cool black-and-white color mix on the uppers. Both styles keep the iconic spiked sole and strap closure that fans love. To capture the essence of the relaunch, PUMA enlisted Nicolas Poillot, a renowned French photographer known for his documentary style, to shoot the new models against the scenic backdrop of Marseille, France.
