Hornets to acquire Reggie Jackson from NuggetsThe Denver Nuggets have agreed to send guard Reggie Jackson to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for three unprotected second-round picks, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Denver, which is bumping up against the second apron and still has Kentavious Caldwell-Pope out there as a pending free agent, gets some significant savings moving off of Jackson’s $5.25 million salary for next season. The move brings a seasoned vet to the backcourt in Charlotte, where Hornets star LaMelo Ball continues to recover from an ankle injury that shut him down for the season. The Hornets also selected forward Tidjane Salaun of France in the lottery with the No. 6 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
