Recently, the Kith founder shared a sneak peek of a new version of the Asics Gel-Kayano 12 on Instagram. This updated model retains the classic mesh and leather construction but introduces a fresh midsole design, potentially borrowing from the Gel-Nimbus series. Fieg is known for trending Asics x Kith collab, like the Gel-Lyte 3.1, which blended Gel-Lyte 3 uppers with Gel-Nimbus soles. In his latest Instagram update, Fieg revealed the silhouette as the Kayano 12.1, a modern twist on the Gel-Kayano 12 with elements from the Nimbus 17. The post also gave us a first look at a vibrant New York Knicks-inspired colorway featuring a blue collar and striking orange accents.
