With the rise of Gorpcore came an increased interest in technical fabrications. Materials like Cordura, Thinsulate, and the like have become a big part of fashion today, and these influences are slowly bleeding their way into sneaker culture as well.
The Air Jordan 1 Element Gore-Tex in “Black Grey” is a waterproof and breathable fabric constructed pair will be joining the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate in “Chocolate” and all-black in this year’s Fall/Winter drop as it will be releasing ahead of its “Light Bone” color schemed predecessor.
Starting off with a base of deep green Gore-Tex covering the toe boxed and quarters, soft black leather overlays outfit the mudguards and eyestays while the heel and ankle collar covers are stitched on in “Particle Grey.” 3M reflective Swooshes is printed on the medial line with laterals while hints of “Chili Red” detail the tongue branding. The midsole is seen in Sail with a translucent outsole featuring Black and Particle Grey in a marbled pattern and black outsole.
