Steph Curry makes history, signed four-year $215M extension with the Warriors.

The Chef cooked again, this time with another lucrative contract extension.

Stephen Curry signed a $215M four-year contract with the Golden State Warriors until the 2025-26 season making him the first player to sign two $200 million-plus contracts in NBA history. Curry’s agent, Jeff Austin of Octagon confirmed the new deal for the all-star point guard who would have been entering the final season of his previous contract. In December, Curry noted he wanted to play until he’s 40 if possible and do so the whole way for the Warriors. Discussions had already begun then on an extension, he said, and now he has a new deal in hand well before he begins his 13th season.BNG-L-WARRIORS-0512-25.jpg

Considered underrated and undersized, the seventh draft pick in the 2009 draft out of Davidson has proven doubters and haters wrong by leading the Dubs to five straight NBA Finals and led championships in 2015, ’17 and ’18.merlin_183334581_34dcab31-67df-4b14-82c6-b7a5777cf2cb-superJumbo.jpg

Curry, 33, averaged 32.0 points, 5.8 assists and 5.5 rebounds and shot 42.1% from 3-point range for the Warriors, who lost in the play-in tournament to Memphis last season. He will extend his contract
off his 45.8 million salaries for 2021-22, which means he's now guaranteed $261 million over the next five seasons.BNG-L-WARRIORS-0306-7.jpg

It's unclear at this point if Curry has a no-trade clause or a player option on the final year. All that matters is that the only unanimous MVP in NBA history will be rocking a Warriors uniform for many more seasons.USATSI_15588974.jpg

Steph will also try to break Ray Allen's record (2,973) of 3-pointers made next season as he sits on 2nd spot with 2,832.

We must say, Curry is making it rain on and off the court too.

He’s worth every penny and more.

Here are some of the interesting breakdowns on Curry’s extension on this “splash” contract.

2022-23: $48.0 million

2023-24: $51.9 million

2024-25: $55.7 million

2025-26: $59.6 million
