In January this year, Converse officially announced that it will join hands with internationally renowned design master Rick Owens to launch a new Converse x DRKSHDW joint series.
Converse and Rick Owens have been inextricably linked a long time ago. Rick Owens once boldly interpreted Chuck Taylor All Star in the DRKSHDW 2014 spring and summer series, launching the well-known "Great Converse".
After half a year, this pair of Converse x DRKSHDW TURBODRK Chuck 70 finally ushered in the official release, and will debut at the end of this month.
This collaboration adds new design elements to the classic Chuck 70, bringing two versions of black high-top and white low-top, incorporating Rick Owens' modern minimalism and contemporary luxury.
The design follows the unique aesthetics of Rick Owens and subverts the classics, breaking and recreating the traditional elements of Converse classic shoes. The elongated tongue and the square toe for the first time instantly changed the temperament of the entire pair of shoes.
The cotton twill upper and fine craftsmanship add a sense of luxury to the appearance and details. The stitching on the extra-long tongue is printed with the logos of both sides to show the joint identity.
