NOCTA lineage served under the Nike banner has been somewhat experimental in its footwear offerings. From the retro-inspired “Hot Step” and upcoming design inspired by the Zoom Flight 95, NOCTA has put a contemporary twist on some classic footwear. For its next, Drizzy has dipped his toe in the slide segment; In fact, he’s dived right in, with these scuba shoe-inspired slides surfacing by way of official Nike.com imagery.
Arriving in a 1:1 mold of the Nike Swim Fin, the pair boasts an all-black rubber construct, the triangular-shaped, flat-bottomed slide sits somewhere between a scuba shoe and a slipper. Tonal, high gloss branding rests over the forefoot while the rear pulls, reading Drake’s play of trademarking, A.W.R. and C.L. — “CopyLeft” and “All Wrongs Reversed”
