Beijing’s SOULGOODS will debut not one, not two, but three iterations of the Nike Dunk High for their debut collection with Nike Sportswear in 2022, combining to tell a story of Basketball, Music, and Art through three decades.
Highlighting the growth of sneaker culture and interwoven subcultures of hoops, hip-hop, and art, all three sneakers link back to a decade that saw its related cultural explosion. The ’80s colorway draws from classic basketball films and the local streetball scene, while the ’90s colorway honors rock and hip-hop roots. The 2000s pair celebrates longtime collectors and artists who bore witness to the previous years.
