Though the brand has an obvious focus on the simple, leather-constructed colorways of the Nike Dunk Low, the Swoosh has slowly been peppering in some special themed releases, including everything from Setsuban-celebrating colorways, to this this new effort, the Nike Dunk Low “Teddy Bear”

Of course, Bearish themes are no stranger to the Dunk, with the brand’s SB division’s 2006’s “Three Bears” collection and the colorful Grateful Dead Dunks setting a strong precedent. Here, though, the pair takes on a more traditional approach by dressing the pair in classic teddy bear browns, inclusive of furry uppers and twill collars and tongues. All of this is overlayed by light tan suede and white leather Swooshes; the latter donning a special suede tag akin to collectible teddies. The medial heel is struck with a bear motif to tie in the theme, before fine finishes like outdoor-informed laces, and fall-friendly white and gum sole units complete the design.
