Adidas has established itself a niche position amongst competing footwear brands through collaborations with some of the biggest names in popular culture. From Disney to Star Wars, the Three Stripes has often found itself in the midst of film-inspired footwear collaborations. Marvel is another big player for the brand, with their strategic partnership with the comic book-come-film studio powerhouse continuing with a special-edition adidas x Black Panther collection.
Headlined by an Ultra 4D, and joined by Patrick Mahomes’s debut sneaker, and aziZero Primknot Cleat, and and adiZero Ubersonic 4, the four-part collection focuses on the titular hero’s unmistakable outfit — the Ultra 4D even goes as far as including the diamond detailng seen acorss the chestplate. All four pairs arrive in hues of black, gold and purple, with ear paire reporting special prints, speckles, and text that refer back to the Black Panther.
